Information We Collect and How We Use It We are committed to user privacy. **We do not require account registration or collect personal identifying information** (such as your name, email address, or phone number). #### (A) Camera and Photo Gallery Access * **Purpose:** Used strictly for taking or selecting food photos to perform AI image recognition and automatic food logging. * **Processing:** When you use the "Scan Food" feature, the selected image is sent to AI processing services (such as Firebase Cloud Functions / Google Gemini API) to identify food items and estimate expiration dates. **We do not permanently store your photos on remote servers, nor do we use them for advertising or sell them to third parties.** #### (B) Local Data Storage * **Purpose:** Stores your food list, expiration dates, notification preferences, and daily scan quota usage records. * **Processing:** All food inventory and setting data are **stored exclusively on your device** (e.g., SharedPreferences / Local Database). We do not transmit your food inventory data to any central server for tracking or profiling. #### (C) Local Notifications * **Purpose:** Sends local alerts when food items are expiring soon or have expired. * **Processing:** Notifications are calculated and scheduled entirely on your local device without external messaging servers. --- ### 2. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing To provide AI image recognition functionality, the App utilizes the following third-party service: * **Firebase Cloud Functions / Google Gemini API**: Images are sent to analyze food content and return recognition results. Data handling complies with the [Google Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy). Except as strictly necessary for the core functionality described above, **we do not share, sell, lease, or trade your data with any advertisers, data brokers, or third parties.** --- ### 3. Data Retention & Deletion Because all your food records and app data are stored locally on your device, you can delete your data at any time by: * Deleting individual items within the App. * Clearing application data via your device's System Settings (Clear App Data). * Uninstalling the App, which permanently removes all associated local data from your device. --- ### 4. Children's Privacy The App is not directed toward children under the age of 13 (or the applicable legal age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. --- ### 5.
